This is a building on the U of M campus. I liked the sun and shadows on the building's side. I also liked the flowering trees nearby. I took pictures of this building because the university could represent the pursuit of knowledge, which is important to me. With these photos, I tried to represent a feeling of interest and curiosity.
This is a bridge in Barton Park. I liked the look of age but at the same time being fully functional. I wanted different perspectives other than just from the front, so I went to the side of the bridge for some of my photos. There were quite a few plants tangled together partially blocking access to different angles, though, so I had to make my way around them. With these photos, I wanted to express a feeling of serenity.
These are photos of a track and basketball court. I thought the coloration looked interesting. I also liked the shapes of the air vents and supports on the ceiling. Before I took the pictures, I had to find a point of view where there weren't people visible. With these photos, I wanted to convey a feeling of motivation.
These are photos of the dam at Barton Park. I liked the rushing water. I also liked the aged exterior of the building. It was interesting to take photos of different angles, including from above. With these pictures, I was trying to express a feeling of awe.
These are photos of the senior living home where my grandfather lives. Because of this, even if it isn't the most interesting building, it is important to me. I like the points on the roof and covered outside area. I also liked the flowers and new leaves on the trees. With these photos, I was trying to capture a feeling of calmness.
